The Matter of the Business Activity is part of the Functional Field of the business, at a strategic level.
It is composed by the Processes and Objectives elements: 
- Processes: It defines what general operations the organization performs. Defining the Processes element is specifying the matter, in terms of means, of the Business Activity.
- Objectives: It defines why these general operations are performed. Defining the Objectives element is specifying the matter, in terms of ends, of the Business Activity.
